Live Missionally
Develop a Global Christian Perspective and Passion for God’s Kingdom Work
Missions at a Glance:
LIFT believes that it is critical to train the leaders of the next generation to join with God in his grand mission for the earth, to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). We do this in many ways, through our classroom sessions on missions, through our heart of service and outreach to our local community, and through special urban, rural, and international trips during the year.
Raising Support
You’ll have the chance to raise prayer and financial support for your international missions trip in the spring. LIFT will support you through the process and help cover the cost as you write and send out your support letters. The cost for the trip is about $1500, including housing, food, and flights.

2 Full Weeks of Missions Work
You will spend 2 full weeks immersing yourself in the culture as you live with Guatemalan families, get to know the staff of Students International, and work with the kids in the programs. With intentional prayer, you will be placed at a specific ministry site where a group of you will help for those 2 weeks. These sites include Special Ed, Child Sponsorship, Sports, Trade School, Girls Club, Physical Therapy, Microfinance, and Social Work.
Experiencing Guatemala
After the two weeks, you will go on a two-day rigorous climb up Volcan (Volcano) Acetanango which is 13,045’. You’ll have a rest day in Antigua. From the top of the volcano to the streets of Antigua, you’ll see stunning views of God’s beautiful creation as you experience time with Him in a new place.
