Retired Missionaries
Bechtel – John notified me that it was probably best to remove them from the brochure. The Missions Committee can decide. He doesn’t receive any money from Camp.
Britton – wife, Joan, was a single lady Missionary (prior to 1964) who sailed to Monaco to serve with TWR. “After Joan and I were married in 1968 Gospel Volunteers continued to support out family. All three of our children have served on staff at COTW.”
Skip adds “I don’t have anything to add to the mission brochure. I might add a praise item that God in is grace has given me the health and strength, at my age, to be able to serve in His great harvest. What a privilege!”
“I praise the Lord for COTW ane the part they have had in our ministry and our family.”
*See new photo of Skip for the brochure.

Stam –
· John and Doris became Camp of the Woods Missionaries in June of 1954.
· Still on the mission field – going on 60 years. Though retired, still involved.
· John is 91 and Doris is 87. They are aging pretty well. John health is now deteriorating more quickly because he has Parkinson’s disease, has a pacemaker, and is legally blind.
· Most of the family lives nearby in Costa Rica and help them with appointments, errands, shopping, cooking, medications, etc.
