As a LIFT 40/41 graduate, former Tapawingo Assistant Director, and LIFT staff member, I loved my time at COTW and am very grateful for my friends and community there. LIFT taught me a lot about the importance and urgency of the Great Commission and how everyone can carry this out in any sphere of influence. It also taught me the importance of focusing on relationships instead of being only task-oriented.

I've had a strong passion for snowboarding and skiing since middle school when my youth group started going on annual ski trips. While working with Ski Patrol in college, I remember thinking, "This is something I want to do for the rest of my life".

Through working with the ministry partners of LIFT while on staff, I heard about Snowboarders and Skiers for Christ (SFC). I was intrigued as this combined two great passions - Jesus and snowboarding. While working with these same partners, I saw how snowboarders and skiers are indeed their own people group - they have their own culture, language, dress, behavior, and struggles. This community and culture needs the light of Christ, and often the only bridge for connection to this culture is our shared love for skiing and snowboarding.

SFC exists to be a light to the ski culture across the world. The ski and snowboard culture is spiritually dark and the effects of the community’s embrace of sin are evidenced in high substance abuse and addiction rates, mental health crises, disjointed transient communities, and heartbreaking suicide rates. We want to see the light of Jesus changing lives and making communities whole! We believe God’s Word calls us to find our identity in Jesus, to engage people within our culture through genuine, loving relationships, and to provide selfless acts for others as we share the Gospel message.

I work as the Operations Coordinator on the Support Staff Team. The Support Staff exists to encourage and equip all the volunteer leaders across the world. In my role, I assist in administration, bookkeeping, event planning/operations, and discipleship.
