The Quest Series is a weekly summer series about how to have conversations about faith and equipping families to be and make disciples.

  • Week 1

    DR. TONY EVANS

    Dr. Tony Evans is one of the country's most respected leaders in evangelical circles. As a pastor, teacher, author, and speaker, he serves the body of Christ through his unique ability to communicate complex theological truths through simple yet profound illustrations. Dr. Evans is known as a relevant expositor while addressing the practical issues of today.

  • Week 1

    JONATHAN EVANS

    Jonathan Evans is a pastor, speaker, and author of Get in the Game, a practical guidebook filled with sports analogies and spiritual truths to strengthen readers’ faith. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Christian Leadership and serves as the chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys and co-chaplain of the Dallas Mavericks.

    CHRYSTAL EVANS HURST

    Chrystal Evans Hurst is a gifted writer, speaker, and worship leader who loves to encourage other women in fulfilling their potential in Christ. As a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Chrystal assists in leading the women’s ministry. Chrystal has co-authored several books with her father and writes on her blog, Chrystal’s Chronicles, where she poignantly reflects on her thoughts about faith and day-to-day experiences.

    DR. FRANK TUREK

    Frank Turek is the president of Crossexamined.org and co-author of several award-winning books such as I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist. He earned his Master’s degree from Southern Evangelical Seminary and speaks at college campuses throughout the year on apologetics.

  • Week 3

    CINDY PARKER

    Cindy Parker has been teaching classes on the evidence for Christianity for over a decade using Greg Koukl’s book, Tactics:.A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions . As a former atheist, she is passionate about teaching effective ways to engage skeptical views.

  • Week 4

    DR. JOHN FERRER

    Dr. John Ferrer is a speaker, researcher, and content creator with Crossexamined.org. Having earned degrees from Southern Evangelical Seminary (MDiv) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (ThM, PhD), he is active in the pro-life community and in his home church.

    HILLARY FERRER

    Hillary Ferrer is the founder and President of Mama Bear Apologetics. She feels a burden for providing accessible apologetics resources for busy moms. She is the chief author and editor of the bestselling books Mama Bear Apologetics: Empowering Your Kids to Challenge Cultural Lies, Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality: Empowering Your Kids to Understand and Live Out God’s Design, and Honest Prayers for Mama Bears.

  • Week 5

    BRETT & ERIN KUNKLE

    Brett Kunkle is the founder & president of MAVEN - an organization dedicated to equipping the next generation with truth to counter cultural ideas & disciple others. Their training immerses students in worldview, apologetics, theology, and evangelism. Brett has a Master’s degree in philosophy of religion and ethics from Talbot School of Theology and was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students.

  • Week 6

    ROBBY LASHUA

    Robby is an apologist at Stand to Reason and was previously the pastor of apologetics at Desert Springs Community Church in Goodyear, AZ, an associate professor at Mission Bible Institute, and host of “Christ, Culture & Coffee”, a weekly apologetics podcast. He has a Master’s of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary and a Master’s in Christian Apologetics from Biola University.

  • Week 7

    DR. JT ENGLISH

    JT English serves as a pastor, professor, and author. He is the author of Deep Discipleship: How the Local Church Can Make Whole Disciples, and You are a Theologian: An Invitation to Know and Love God Well. He is also a co-founder of Training the Church and a co-host of the Knowing Faith podcast. He received his ThM in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and PhD in Systematic Theology from Southern Seminary.

  • Week 8

    PATTY SCOTT

    Patty Scott is a women's Bible study teacher at West Shore Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA, where she teaches at her church on the evidence of the resurrection, tactics, and strategies for engaging in meaningful conversations with non-believers, worldview training, and God’s design for sex, gender, and marriage.

  • Week 9

    REV. DR. MICHAEL JORDAN

    Rev. Dr. Michael Jordan is the Dean of the Chapel at Houghton University where he teaches courses on theology and the Bible. He is also an ordained pastor with over 20 years of experience in college ministry and serves as the Summer Staff Chaplain at COTW in the summers.
